Randhir Singh Named Honorary Member Of International Olympic Committee

Former Indian Olympic Association (IOA) secretary general Randhir Singh was appointed as an honorary member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Randhir, who served as the secretary general of the IOA from 1987 to 2012, was named for the prestigious honorary membership of the IOC after serving as a full member of the world body from India from 2001 to 2014. Randhir Singh is the second Indian to become an honorary member of the IOC after Ashwini Kumar. Ashwini Kumar was also given the membership after serving as full IOC member from India.
