SSC MTS Selection Procedure Details: Selection Process details for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Exam are given below…

Selection Process: Staff Selection Commission selection process is based on Written Examination. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the examination will be required to appear for a descriptive type qualifying paper for testing basic language skills. Written Examination consists of two paper, candidates who qualifed objective type paper (Paper I) will be shortlisted for the descriptive type (Paper-II) examination on the basis of their performance in Paper-I. Paper-II will only of qualifying nature.

Written Examination: The written exam will consist of (Paper-I) objective type paper and (Paper-II) descriptive type.
(i) Paper-I will consist of questions on ‘General Intelligence and Reasoning’ will be non-verbal considering the functions attached to the post. Questions on Numerical Aptitude and General English will be simple, of a level that an average matriculate will be in a position to answer comfortably. Paper-II will be held only for such candidates who meet the cut-off prescribed by the Commission in Paper-I for different categories.
(ii) Paper-II will be descriptive in which the candidate will be required to write short essay/letter in English and one language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. Paper-II will only be of qualifying nature and is intended to test elementary language skills in view of recategorization of the post as Group-C and in view of job requirements.

Note: The cut-offs in Paper-I and qualifying marks in Paper-II may be different for vacancies in each State/UT will be fixed at the discretion of the commission. Candidates for each State/UT will be finally selected based on their performance in Paper-I, subject to their meeting basic qualifying standards fixed in Paper-II.

(iii) Documents verification will be conducted for those candidates who have qualified in written examination.

APPSC Group 4 Exam Selection Process Details

APPSC Group 4 Exam Selection Process Details: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission’s (APPSC) Group-4 examination selection process details are given below…

Selection procedure: The selection process consists of written examination & document verification.

1. Written Examination: The written examination conducted by APPSC is of objective type mode which includes Paper I, II. Paper I consists of General Studies, Paper II consists of Secretarial Abilities. Each Paper carries 150 marks for 150 questions and its time duration is 2: 30 hours. The appearance in all the papers at the Written Examination is compulsory. Minimum qualifying marks are relaxable as per discretion of the Commission/District selection committee.

2. Document Verification: Candidates have to produce attested Photo copies of required certificates and Original documents and other particulars for verification as and when required and called for. If the particulars furnished in the application do not tally with the Original documents produced by the candidate, the candidature will be rejected. The work of verifying the certificates and preparation of merit list as per the communal Roster is interested to the respective District Collectors

The appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in the appropriate medical classification, and if he/she is of sound health, active habits free from any bodily defect or infirmity.
