Recipe: Aloo Kachori

You will simply love this recipe.


  • ½kg boiled potatoes (finely mashed)
  • 50 gms grated coconut
  • 50 gms coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying


  • Mix the grated coconut and finely chopped coriander and chilli. Add salt to taste and lemon juice.
  • Then Make dough out of the mashed potato after adding a pinch of salt according to the proportion. Make small balls of even size.
  • Now press the dough by placing in on the left palm and put some grated coconut and coriander mixture in the centre. Now conceal it and make a ball out of it again. Repeat the same for the remaining kachoris.
  • Heat some oil in a pan. One the oil is ready for fying, put the kachoris one by one. Fry until pale golden brown.
