CAT 2014 results to be announced next week

The gate way to the IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management) and big management institutes in the country, the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2014 exam results are to be announced by next week. The published results will include scaled scores for each section (Section I: Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, section II: Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning) and total score along with the total percentile. Note: The scores of the candidates shall be subjected to a process of Normalization. The total maximum score in CAT 2014 will be 300 as each question carries 3 marks and there were 100 total questions. The test had two sections of 50 questions each- Quantitative Ability (QA) and Data Interpretation (DI) and the other section included Verbal Ability (VA) and Logical Reasoning (LR). For each wrong answer, 1 mark is decided to be deducted and no penalty for those left unanswered.
