Syllabus for SSC JE Exam 2012
Paper I Objective Type:
Paper - I: General Intelligence & Reasoning this carries 50 marks
Paper - I: General Awareness which carries 50 marks
Paper - I: Part - A for General Engineering the candidate should appear for only one part either Part A or Part B or Part C as indicated by them on the application form. The part A will have Civil & Structural Engineering, Part B will have Electrical Engineering, Part C will have Mechanical Engineering (carries 100 marks).
Paper II Conventional Type:
Paper II carries 300 marks. In this Paper two the candidate can appear for only one part either Part A or Part B or Part C as they indicated on their application form.
Part A - General Engineering (Civil and Structrural)
Part B - General Engineering (Electrical)
Part C - General Engineering (Mechanical)
SSC JE 2012 exam Pay Scale:
PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with G.P. 4200/- (revised) (Group 'B' Non Gazetted, NonMinisterial).
SSC JE 2012 exam pattern and structure:
The SSC JE exam 2012 consists of two stages. A written test followed by Interview. The written test carries 500 marks and interview carries 100 marks. The Paper I in written test will be objective type and Paper II will be conventional type. The time duration for Paper I is 02 hours from 10:00 Am to 12:00 Noon. The time duration for Paper II is 02 hours from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
